TIPS FOR PROPER MAINTENANCE AND CARE OF WOODEN WINDOWS AND BALCONY DOORS

Congratulations!

You have chosen high-quality wooden windows and balcony doors, which combine excellent usability properties with modern production technology.

To maintain the quality and beauty of your windows and doors, it is important to follow the guidelines and recommendations for using care kits for wooden windows and doors, such as the Remmers Pflege Set.

To ensure the long-lasting quality of your wooden windows and balcony doors, it is essential to follow the recommendations below.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF WOODEN SURFACES

Windows and balcony doors should be cleaned and maintained twice a year, in spring and autumn, under favorable weather conditions, using the Remmers Pflege Set care kit for wooden windows and doors.

By regularly using these care products, you will extend the lifespan of your windows, enhance their appearance, and provide additional protection against harmful weather conditions.

Do not rush. Clean the finished window and door frames after 6-8 weeks, avoiding vigorous and dry wiping as well as aggressive cleaning agents. Do not use dishwashing or glass-cleaning liquids, as they can negatively affect the acrylic surfaces. Do not use abrasive agents or those containing anionic surfactants or solvents like acetone or nitro, as they may cause the surface to become matte or dissolve. Only use mild cleaning agents as recommended by the manufacturer (e.g., Remmers Pflege Set).

Proper ventilation is also essential. Regularly ventilating rooms promotes well-being and proper concentration, and ensures the exchange of stale, moist air with fresh, dry air, providing good thermal insulation. Therefore, ventilate all rooms every morning for 10-15 minutes, and repeat this 3-4 times during the day, for 5 minutes each time, depending on usage. Turn off heating during this process and open the window wide for the best results.

INSTALLATION TIPS:

It is prohibited to use strong adhesive tapes, such as reinforced tapes, to secure windows during construction work.

Any labels should be removed from the glass no later than 14 days after installation, as removal may become very difficult afterward.
